fARM sTANDS AND gROCERY sTORES

Eligibility

Definition: A permanent structure/facility that sells produce grown, produced, and packaged in New Mexico. Farm stands must sell produce that the farm stand farmer grows, produces, and packages at the farm stand farm. A "permanent" facility is defined as one that is a physical structure affixed to the ground, must not be mobile in nature, and remains on site during the course of the year. The Farm Stand or Grocery Store shall have a well-defined schedule of operations that may be seasonal, and should offer a variety of locally grown fresh fruits and/or vegetables for sale to the general public.

Requirements: Operate in accordance with all relevant federal, state and local regulations

Farm Stand Annual Dues: $25


Grocery Store Annual Dues depend on Gross Sales (Operation):

  • 0 - $500,000 - $100
  • $500,001 - $10,000,000  -  $250
  • $10,000,000+   -  $500
